Women Counselling - An Introduction

No one has the right to abuse WOMEN

We believe that all forms of verbal, physical or emotional abuse are WRONG.

Apex University has established a dedicated cell for women. We have deputed woman counsellors for the help of female students and staff members.

Woman Counsellors are here to offer support to women dealing with abuse from a class-mate or staff members. We provide a confidential, safe and supportive place where women can talk about their experiences and explore their options.

Our Woman Counselling Cell conducts these activities :

• One-to-one counselling

• Cross-cultural counselling for immigrant

• Support groups with others who have shared similar experiences

• Safety planning

• Referrals to other beneficial services in the community

• Seminars and workshops
